Johnson Jack — Poor Taylor

 Jack Johnson
Poor Taylor Solo Riff

Tabbed by Julian Parris

This is pretty much as correct as you can get with the
tabs that are online. If you have any suggestions, email
me.

When playing, try to pick with a little funk -
just like jack

(Jack playes with his guitar tuned down 50 cents, which
is 1/4 step down, so, for example, the E string is actually
inbetween Eb and E)

// = slap
s = slide
h = hammer on
p = pull off

Johnson Jack — Poor Taylor

 Here is another great song written and performed by the one and only Jack Johnson. As
as I heard the song, I wanted to know it. It is such an enticing into.
Jack is known to slap the strings in the middle of the song to add a little bit of a
so to mark that I will put a to mark when he slaps his guitar.

Intro:
e:-----------------------------------------------------|
B:-----------------------------------------------------|
G:-----------------------------------------------------|
D:-----------------------------------------------------|
A:--1-1h3----1h3p1---1p0-----------------1-2--2-2h3----|
E:-----------------3-----3p0---1-1----1h3--------------|

e:-----------------------------------------------------|
B:--------------------------- *this part is played ----|
G:---------------------------  really fast*        ----|
D:--1h3p1---1p0----------------------------------------|
A:--------3-----3p0------------1----1----1----1h3------|
E:-------------------1-1----1h3--1h3--1h3--1h3---------|

e:-------------------------------------------------------------------|
B:---------------------------------4-------1--1-1/3--6-6---3-3--1----|
G:---------------------------------2-------0--0-0/0--0-0---0-0--2----|

A:----------------------0h3----------------3--3-3/5--8-8---5-5--3----|
E:--------------------------1-1--------------------------------------|

And just incase someone was wondering about the erst of the song...
Jack uses these chords for the verses, and I think the chorus as well.
But for the Verses, just mute it and pick at it working from low to high and low again.
